Imperative Sentences (explained in Kannada)


ಇವತ್ತು ನಾವು imperative sentences (ಇಂಪರೇಟಿವ್ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳು) ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ.

ನಾವು ಯಾರಿಗಾದರೂ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದಾಗ;ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ;ಯಾರಿಗಾದರೂ ಸೂಚನೆ-ಸಲಹೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದಾಗ - ಇಂಪರೇಟಿವ್ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಬೇಕು.

ಉದಾ:

You turn on the UPS when the current goes.
ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಹೋದಾಗ ನೀನು ಯುಪಿಎಸ್ ಅನ್ನು ಚಾಲನೆಗೊಳಿಸು. (ಸೂಚನೆ)

Please wash the plate after you eat.
ತಿಂದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ತಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ತೊಳೆಯಿರಿ. (ಮನವಿ)


You must go to play only after finishing your supper.
ನೀನು ಊಟವನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸಿಯೇ ಆಟವಾಡಲು ಹೋಗಬೇಕು. (ಆಜ್ಞೆ)

Once we cross the age of 50, it is a good idea to get a full body check-up once every 6 months.
50 ವರ್ಷ ದಾಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳಿಗೊಮ್ಮೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ದೇಹದ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು. (ಸಲಹೆ)

My Views on Education

When I use the term education, I tend to define it within certain parameters. This way I keep my discussion on this vast subject limited and focused. Hopefully clear too. So here goes.. Education can become a universal concept, only when it is accepted as an empowering tool universally. Sukhe dukhe same kritvaa.......

सुख दुखे समे कृत्वा लाभालाभौ जयाजयौ | ततो युद्धाय युज्यस्व नैवम् पापमवाप्स्यसि || This is a verse from Bhagavad-Gita.
